ABOUT ME (aka RK)

I'm Kevin, thanks for checking out my site. I'm from Menlo Park, CA where I work as a park ranger and live with my wife Kelly and our GSP/Lab Mix Bodhi.

I am an avid avid outdoorsman. I enjoy archery and rifle hunting, backpacking, fly fishing and camping. I have always had a love for woodworking and making things.

Here's a little story about what sparked my interest in woodworking...

On a trip to Southern California, I noticed some Redwood Adirondack chairs at a winery. After sitting in these chairs, I felt they were missing some things, more comfort and craftsmanship.

I was on a mission to create a better-looking, more comfortable contoured seat with lower back support.

Since that trip to the wine county, I have built an entire collection for our friend's home and they look stunning scattered around their property.

I found that I really love making these chairs and it also makes me happy that people see the beauty and craftsmanship that goes into making them.
